Student at UC Berkeley studying in Premed and Psychology with a GPA of 3.89. I am currently studying for the MCATs and working full time as a tutor.
Experience
I've had 6 years of tutoring experience in the Contra Costa district. I love working with children and plan to spend my life working towards children's education. My life's motto is to spread my knowledge and help those in need. I am always available for my students. Many of my students have been high school students (recently) because of my expertise in higher level subjects. I enjoy my students receiving excellent grades at school and on their exams. My students have gone on to UC Berkeley, Stanford, UCLA, and the University of Washington (Seattle). I have many, many success stories as well as students who previously struggled in school but are now excelling at great levels. I do not promise a miracle as doing well in school is hard work, but I do dedicate my free time to my students. Many send me questions on off hours and study with me until 1 or 2 in the morning. I admire dedication and hard work and I will always teach them that the pathway to success is first believing that everything can be achieved with a little elbow grease. I am a psychology major, and that is why I get along with my students so well. They see me as a friend, and an ally and it makes me happy to go to work every day. I work 6 days a week, and 60 hours in total per week and still continue to smile through it all. :)

Hobbies
I love working out, shopping and solving difficult math problems. I am usually working or at school, but I strongly believe that if we work hard now, we are able to relax later in life. I love listening to music, studying interesting subjects that have nothing to do with my schoolwork, watching documentaries, and discussing politics with my students. It is amazing, the amount of intellect the kids I tutor have. I like to inspire them and remind them that I'm not much older than most of the students I tutor. They can learn from my experiences and I can guide them through their tough times. I'm not only a tutor...I'm more like a friend. I also have a side business where I can laugh and express my creativity (cosmetology). I'm a self-taught makeup artist and henna artist.
