My strength lies primarily in French and English, as I am proficient in writing analytical essays as well as literary essays in both subjects and languages. In college I have gotten A's as a freshman in upper division English literary courses, and I consistently do well in my French and Film major courses. -I would love to be a tutor because I never had one when I was in high school. I never wanted to ask for help, but I didn't realize how much it would've benefitted me if I had. It wasn't until I was asked to edit my friend's French essays in my freshman year of college that I realized I have a passion for tutoring. That, coupled with nine years of childcare experience, allows me to tutor for any age in most humanities subjects. -I am currently a marketing assistant at Fielding Graduate University, a nonprofit located in Santa Barbara. This job has allowed me to hone my technological and communication skills as well as provided excellent experience for working in a professional setting.

Hobbies
-I am very active in Phi Sigma Pi, a national honors fraternity, and will be the historian next year. -I am an avid yogi, and practice multiple times a week. This has evolved from my ten years as a dancer. -I love to swim and consider myself a particularly strong ocean swimmer, and this is one of the main reasons I chose to attend UCSB. -I hike and camp fairly frequently and consider myself an outdoors person. -I have been a babysitter, a nanny, and a daycare worker, so working with kids is a huge passion of mine. I started off watching kids with learning disabilities, and have gained various connections with a wide variety of families over the years.
