I have completed Math teaching credentials from National University. I have two Master's degrees: One from India and another from San Jose State.
Experience
I Teach Math in Public high school. I am an experienced tutor; I currently am tutoring several High school students for all levels of Math. I have 15 yrs of tutoring experience. I have experience with different types of curricula: Common Core, Saxon,and several others, used by different Private and Public Schools. I tutor students from several school districts. I believe in EXPLICIT INSTRUCTION, which means breaking down concepts in easy-to-understand parts. I work with the students so that they can use a variety of techniques to solve problems. If required/desired, I can give the students worksheets and extra practice problems from a variety of resources. I also coach for AP Stats and AP Calculus. I tutor students for Math Olympiad, Math League, AMC, SAT 1 and 2, Standardized testing, I have worked with all kinds of students: special needs, high-performing students, average students, and with those struggling to pass. The parents have always been satisfied with my services, as I tailor my style according to the student's needs.
